Since our launch in 2005, Veda has grown thanks to word-of-mouth and positive feedback from our loyal guests. Unlike most fast food chains, we welcome input of any kind! • To our environment…
The environment is very important to us. Our goal is to use packaging and materials that are environmentally-friendly. While most fast food restaurants prefer inexpensive materials like foam, which are rarely recyclable, our aluminum takeout containers are both functional and recyclable! Our commitment to recycling has led us to develop the "Veda Recycles" program, whereby we have reduced our waste by over 80 percent! We encourage customers to leave their empty containers on their tables so our team can sort, recycle, and compost as much as possible. Though our "Veda Recycles" program costs more financially, we feel that it is our duty to protect our planet for future generations.
• To healthy living…
People tell us that healthy fast food is an oxymoron, but we don’t believe this has to be true! We are proud leaders in the healthy fast food industry. With the knowledge and expertise of our chefs, we have created a unique cooking process that requires NO OIL added to most our recipes without compromising the great taste. We are committed to using only the highest quality ingredients and freshest spices available. Whenever possible, we use healthier items such as low-fat milk instead of heavy cream, oil or butter. We understand that our guests are busy and active people. Thus, it is our goal to contribute to such healthy living.
